The scoundrels of the high seas have taken a devious detour from their ocean hijinks and made their way (deciphering a newly discovered treasure map) to the renowned Renaissance Fair (Ren-Fest) at Quiet Waters 401 S Powerline Rd, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442.
They’ll be roaming the grounds in sailors’ disguise – so beware – one could cross your path at any time. Luckily, the water’s not deep enough to fear walking the plank, but they’re pranksters and party animals at heart. And what’s a party without music?
New this year, Pirates Creed is bringing a high-energy show to the Biergarten. These table-banging buccaneers will be belting out the best of the sea shanties, and you’ll miss out if you don’t raise a glass and sing along to The Wellerman and other maritime favorites! Also at the Biergarten, Chaste Treasure are sure to charm, as they sing a Capella with a saucy bawdy flair and harmonies tighter than the cords on their laced bodices. These ladies are pure fun!
And if it’s humor ye be needing, we’ve heard tell of fun activities and entertainment the likes of which you’ve never seen. Back, by popular demand, are Buckle and Swash with their delightful antics, humor and swords! And if ye be wanting yet more fun, check out MooNie the Magnif’Cent, the silent entertainer who encourages lots of noise from his audience.
