New 327-Unit Apartment Building Breaks Ground in Pompano Beach

Fairfield Pompano, LP, an affiliate of a San Diego-based developer, recently filed notice with Broward County that it has started construction on a six-story, 327-unit apartment complex, plus approximately 10,000 square feet of commercial space and a parking garage, located at 601 N. Federal Highway, just south of the Pompano Beach Community Park and the Pompano Air Park. The property used to house a commercial center, which was demolished.
Fairfield reportedly obtained a $56.5 million construction loan from Santander Bank. According to property records, the developer acquired the 3-acre site for $7.7 million on June 15, 2018.
