Another Successful year for Broward Habitat for Humanity CEO Build

If that showed up as an answer on Jeopardy the correct question could be “What is needed to provide the foundation of one Habitat for Humanity home?”
The 50 Broward County CEOs that participated in the annual CEO Build are well aware that it takes more than that raw material. It takes dedication, hard work, and the desire to help provide real homes for families that might otherwise never have them.
Co-chairs Brent Burns, President, and CEO of JM Family Enterprises, and Keith Koenig, CEO of City Furniture did a stellar job leading the project.
Nancy Robin, CEO and Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Broward knows what it takes to be part of such a team. Robin began her involvement in the program as a volunteer. Throughout her career, her “signature servant leadership style” and passion for making a difference helped many organizations. And it led her back to Habitat again and again.
This year CEO Build once again observed all COVID regulations. The need for safe, affordable housing has never been greater. Nancy Robin and the team of CEOs were not about to let a pandemic keep them from helping prospective homeowners.
The work of volunteers and the sweat equity provided by program participants help in all areas of home creation. 2021 CEO Build members helped landscape homes at the 76-home Rick Case Habitat Community in Pompano Beach.
