Pompano Beach 4th of July Firework Extravaganza

When: Monday, July 4 | 5:30 – 9:30pm

Where: Fisher Family Pier, 222 N Pompano Beach Blvd

Cost: Free

WHAT: The City of Pompano Beach Parks and Recreation Department presents the Annual 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza. The 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza will begin at 5:30 pm with live music from Shadow Creek Band, one of the most diverse bands in South Florida. Beginning at 7 pm, the Derek Mack Band will take the stage to perform some of your favorite Top Hits from the 80s through today! All live music will take place on the beach, just south of the Fisher Family Pier.

Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome; however, personal fireworks, glass containers, alcohol, personal drones and pets are prohibited. The Fisher Family Pier will be closed Monday, July 4 and reopen for regular hours on Tuesday, July 5.

Available parking is located at the end of Atlantic Blvd and A1A. Both street parking and the pier garage are also available. Starting at 8:45pm, eastbound vehicular traffic going to the barrier island will be shut down for the duration of the fireworks show. They will reopen once the fireworks have ended. Pedestrians will still have access to walk across the bridge the entire day and night.

Deerfield Beach Independence Day Celebration

When: Monday, July 4, 2022 | 12 – 9:30pm (Fireworks begin at 9:05pm)

Where: Deerfield Beach, International Fishing Pier

Cost: Free

What: The City of Deerfield Beach is excited to announce that this year’s 4th of July event will be back at the beach. The celebration kicks off at noon with music, vendors, and more. The night wraps up with a spectacular fireworks show!

Fort Lauderdale 4th of July Spectacular Fest & Fireworks

WHAT: Celebrate America’s Independence Day at the City of Fort Lauderdale’s free 4th of July Spectacular! The Independence Day Celebration will feature a patriotic extravaganza on and along Fort Lauderdale Beach, featuring live bands, a kids zone, beach games, contests, family activities and a dazzling fireworks display. The kids’ zone provides nonstop energy and excitement with plenty of music, bounce houses, face painting, old-fashioned hot dog and watermelon eating contests, and a variety of other amusing beach games. As the sun goes down, the celebration heats up with live music and entertainment. After the sun sets, all eyes will turn toward the sky for the City’s spectacular 30-minute fireworks show at 9pm. This dazzling pyrotechnic display is an annual favorite of children and adults of all ages!

Tickets & Accommodation 4th of July

Spectacular is free of charge, so everybody is welcome to join the event. However, you may want to grab some cash to pay for food, drinks, and other non-free stuff. In addition, it is a good idea to book your accommodation in advance as Fort Lauderdale is very busy on Independence Day.

Fourth of July Fireworks Viewing Deck at Pier 6 Rooftop

When: Monday, July 4, 2022 | 6 – 10pm

Where: Home2 Suites/TRU by Hilton Pompano Beach Pier Hotel, 200 N Ocean Blvd., Pompano Beach

Cost: $20/per person (under 3 free) available on eventbrite.com

What: Enjoy the beautiful Pompano Beach Independence Day Fireworks Display from the Pier 6 Rooftop atop the Home2 Suites/TRU by Hilton Pompano Beach Pier Hotel. Access to the Rooftop from 6–10 pm on July 4 will require a reservation and tickets.

On the day of the event, check in at the hotel lobby table. You will receive your wristbands to move freely in and out of the Rooftop from 6–10pm on July 4. Tickets will be required for all guests over the age of 3. 3 and younger are complimentary.

Registered hotel guests on July 4 will receive complimentary wristbands upon check-in for the guests in their hotel room only. Additional guests will require purchased tickets.

There is no refund in the event of inclement weather. Tickets do not include food, beverage, or seating. Tickets provide you access to the Pier 6 Rooftop between 6–10pm on July 4. Before 6pm and after 1 pm, wristbands are not required on the Pier 6 Rooftop. Guests at the Rooftop without wristbands will be invited to vacate the space at 6pm on July 4.

Liberty and Libation

When: Monday, July 4, 2022 | 4 – 11pm

Where: Oceanic, 250 North Pompano Beach Blvd., Pompano Beach

Cost: $25/per person

What: Enjoy life, liberty and libations on July 4 at Oceanic and enjoy the holiday with views of the Pompano Pier fireworks. Toast to our independence with a party that is not to be missed on the entire second floor and outdoor patios. Enjoy dinner, patriotic cocktails and a front-row view of the Pompano Beach Pier fireworks.

Limited tables for parties of 4 and 10 guests are available. Party admission pricing is included in the table reservation ticket.

Those in attendance will receive party favors and a chance to win a $100 gift certificate to Oceanic.

Get Ready For The Fourth!

Cost: $47/per person

When: Sunday, July 3, 2022 | 2 – 4pm

Where: Painting with a twist, 1185 S Federal Highway, Deerfield Beach

What: Create your very own Independence Day-themed art. BYOB or purchase it at the studio! You are welcome to bring your favorite wine or beer as well as other food or snacks. The studio has alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. (Must be 21+ to drink, ID REQUIRED) Please arrive a few minutes early. This will allow you time to unwind and uncork.

Independence Day Triathalon

When: Monday, July 4, 2022

Where: Tradewinds Park, 3600 W. Sample Road, Coconut Creek

Cost: $99/sprint triathlon; $99/sprint duathlon; $99/sprint aqua bike;

What: The entire event will be inside the park with a closed course with no vehicular traffic. The finish/transition area will be on the park’s South Side in the last parking lot. Signs will direct you to race morning parking. The racecourse is very spectator friendly. This event is a great venue for first-time and experienced triathletes alike!

Triathletes start with a 1/4 mile swim in the calm and clean lake at Tradewinds Park.

Duathletes start with a 3/4 mile run on the run path through the park.

All racers then bike two loops around the park roads for 10 miles. Aquabike participants are finished when they enter transition after the bike, but please proceed to the finish line for your picture and medal.

Triathletes and Duathletes then run two loops around the run path through the park for 3 miles.
