World’s Largest Zombie Apocalypse 5k Survival Run Coming To Deerfield Beach

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Outrun the zombies and be part of the World’s Largest Zombie Apocalypse 5k Survival Run in Deerfield Beach on June 2nd. Runners will leave the start line with three velcro flags attached to their back waistband and run the course as fast as they can while avoiding stationary, walker and runner zombie stations. The goal is to make it through the zombies with at least one flag left. As runners approach most areas on the course they will be warned that the infected have been sighted and to watch out. Fruit, water and bathrooms will be available before the race.
The race is hosted by Badass Running Company and benefits the National Brain Tumor Society, a nonprofit committed to uniting the community to discover a cure, deliver effective treatments and advocate for patients and care partners.
When: June 2 from 7:30am to 11:30am. Day of race packet pickup is from 6:30 to 7am. First race wave starts at 7:30am sharp.
